An Advanced Three-step Procedure To Nourish Skin In New Jersey

Want your most vibrant, best skin? Regular facials provide numerous benefits for your face’s tone, texture, and appearance—while also supporting cellular health. A three-in-one, patented skin treatment called HydraFacial® from New Jersey’s The Peer Group is an innovative option that produces more dramatic, noticeable results when compared to traditional facials.

What is Hydrafacial®?

HydraFacial® is a multi-step cosmetic treatment that includes cleansing, extracting, hydrating, and nourishing with serums. One of the advantages of this procedure is that it’s safe for all skin types, and it addresses a full range of skin issues, including fine lines, wrinkles, loss of elasticity, uneven tone, dullness, dryness, acne, uneven texture, brown spots, oily and congested skin, and enlarged pores.

Procedure

HydraFacial® consists of three steps: cleansing and peeling, extracting and hydrating, and finally fusing and protecting. A device suctions dirt and oil along with other impurities out of the pores while a peel is applied for exfoliation. A beneficial serum is then delivered to the pores before finishing the treatment with LED Light Therapy. Patients may feel a light pressure during the procedure itself, but it is unlikely to cause discomfort or redness thanks to the leading-edge spiral design of the Vortex-Fusion delivery system.

This is vacuum technology that forms a vortex to break up and extract debris from the skin while administering hydrating skin solutions at the same time. The deep cleansing and exfoliation allow products to be absorbed more effectively into the pores, and the intensive serums are tailored for each patient’s unique skin type and concerns. This treatment is considered to be a type of hydradermabrasion—a gentle, crystal-free exfoliation technique for extracting impurities. A single session takes less than an hour.

Recovery

There is no downtime necessary following a HydraFacial®, so patients can return to their normal day-to-day activities. Patients won’t experience any irritation, redness, or peeling after the session.

Results

Patients will see smoother, more even, and brighter skin right away after having this procedure. They may also notice boosted hydration, improvements to firmness and texture, and a reduction in oiliness and dilated pores. It produces consistent results, though—depending on the patient’s skin condition and goals—The Peer Group team may recommend repeat treatments every two to four weeks.

Costs

Patients can have any questions they have about pricing, payments, and recovery for HydraFacial® answered directly by a skin care specialist during their consultation. The price will be affected if the patient chooses to have add-ons or repeat treatments.

Other Skin Care Options

Sometimes patients choose to have other skin care services from The Peer Group to complement their HydraFacial® results, including medical-grade chemical peels (which are other types of exfoliation treatments), dermaplaning for the removal of unwanted hair and dead skin, microneedling to help rebuild collagen and improve the skin’s condition, and DiamondGlow® (another option for exfoliating and hydrating). Dermal fillers and injectables are the go-to options for minimizing facial wrinkles that are associated with collagen loss from aging, sun damage, or habitual facial expressions that cause the skin to crease.
