The Rhinoplasty (or “Nose Job”) Procedure
The nose is the center of your face and its shape, size, and its relationship to your other facial features has a profound effect on your appearance. If you are self-conscious because of your nasal shape or appearance, rhinoplasty, commonly called a “nose job,” may help to boost your confidence and self-esteem. Rhinoplasty usually takes about two to three hours and is most often performed on an outpatient basis. While there will be some swelling and pain after this cosmetic surgical procedure, it can be effectively managed with medications prescribed by your plastic surgeon. The swelling and discomfort should fade after a few days, and, within a week, you should be able to return to work or school
