Facial Implants
Facial implants – for example chin implants and jaw implants – can be placed in various parts of the face to achieve better harmony and balance among facial features. Facial implant plastic surgery is frequently used to strengthen a receding chin, add prominence to cheekbones, and reshape the jaw line. Incisions for chin implants and cheek implants are made in discreet locations, in many instances inside the mouth, so there will be no visible scarring. Facial implants can serve as excellent complements to other cosmetic surgery procedures, including rhinoplasty (a “nose job” in common parlance) and facelifts, to give the face a more balanced proportion and a rejuvenated appearance. Our board certified plastic surgeons of The Peer Group have performed facial implant surgery for women and men in Warren, Hunterdon and Sumerset Counties, and throughout northern New Jersey. They can show you photographs of their patients taken before and after plastic surgery so you can see the results for yourself!
