Medical Spa VS Day Spa
With winter weather in full swing, now is the perfect time to get a facial to rid yourself of dull, dry skin and reveal and brighter, healthier complexion. Before handing over hundreds of dollars in expensive spa facial services, know your options. Medial spa skin care treatment options can be more beneficial to you, and here’s why:
1. Types of facials performed?
We do not do facials. We do Skin Care Treatments. Physician- Exclusive Peels that consist of Micropeels, Micropeel Plus, and Microdermabrasion.
2. What does each of these treatments treat?
Our treatments address fine lines, brown spots, age spots, acne, skin imperfections, photo aged skin and stimulate cellular renewal. They assist with the correction of skin concerns but also help to preserve healthy skin and aid the prevention of future skin damage and aging. An evaluation of which peel is correct for patient is done at every skin care appointment.
Micropeel- Treats all skin types and color (acne, aging, pigmentation, sensitive skin). This peel may be acid free, lactic acid or glycolic acid. It is a unique treatment with physical and chemical exfoliation for effective correction. There is no downtime.
Micropeel Plus- Treats all skin types and colors (acne, aging, pigmentation, sensitive skin). This peel consists of salicylic and glycolic acid. A unique treatment of chemical exfoliation designed to help refine skin texture, smooth fine lines and even skin discoloration while reducing the appearance of acne scars and environmental damage to the skin. One week following the treatment the skin will undergo its renewal process and light to moderate peeling may occur.
Microdermabrasion-Treats sun damaged skin, age spots, minor to moderate early aging fine lines, acne scarring, and assists in hyper pigmentation reduction. This resurfacing technique removes the topmost layer of dead skin cells leaving a smoother texture and promotes a healthy growth of new skin cells. This treatment may be done acid free or with a lactic acid or glycolic acid following (at the aesthetician’s discretion). There is no downtime to this treatment.
3. Why go to a medical spa over a day spa?
Our treatments are physician exclusive treatments that are performed under a physician’s supervision. Our treatments/products are prescription strength therefore you will be achieving the results that are needed. A day spa is more for the person who is looking for a relaxing, pampering facial rather that a correction treatment.
4. What is our most popular treatment?
We do not have one popular treatment over the other. All our treatments are individually based on the patients need at time of visit.
5. What is the price difference of different treatments?
Our treatments can range from $100-$150. Packages of three may also be purchased at a package price ranging from $330 -$385.
